Default Dermal fillers while breastfeeding?

Just wanted to know what people have been told about dermal fillers and nursing. I've heard different things from different people. A friend had her lips fillered at a place in the city (we live in Melbourne) by a practitioner. She wasn't asked about pregnancy or breastfeeding.

A few clinics I rang said no.

Is there any 'real' reason why not? Or is this a litigation thing like the disclaimers on food packagings? Everything seems to contain nut traces nowadays...

Could I safely forget to tell them about it? I feel like I've aged 5 years post-pregnancy. I want something NOW!

Hi guys,

I'm also interested in this. I'm thinking about getting pregnant soon and don't want to get my lips filled and then get caught out for 2 years and have the lips suddenly deflate.

Are there different types of dermal fillers safe during pregnancy and breast feeding?
