hi lolly lisa,

IMHO these all fall under they can't hurt but might help category. So a lot of people like trying it.

I think what happens is you get a bruise. The bruise is destined to heal up by itself over 6-8 days.

Somone puts on echinacea and the bruise heals up in about 5-9 days.

You should not rub or massage the treated area for at least twelve hours after your Botox injections. Your doctor will also instruct you to avoid bending or lying down for three to four hours after your Botox treatment, to keep the toxin from moving to other facial areas and allow it to make a solid connection to the muscle.

Any discomfort, bruising or swelling can be treated with mild over-the-counter painkillers such as ibuprofen. Do not use aspirin as this may make the bruising worse, and this made things worst)

Call your doctor immediately if you experience any severe pain or symptoms that are progressive or seem unusual to you. Ensure that you talk to your doctor to fully understand the risks, complications and remedies of Botox treatment.

Ibuprofen should not be taken as an aspirin substitute. It also thins blood and can make bruising worse. Take paracetamol if u have pain

Hi

Take Arnica in drop form, 10-15 drops in water , 3 times a day.
Start 3 days before your injections & keep taking for a couple of days afterwards......this will help

Botox injections are usually injected with small gauge needles that minimize bleeding. This includes drinking alcohol, vitamin E supplements, aspirin, ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatories. he most common areas for the use of Botox are the frown lines between the eyebrows.
