I have heard that some business managers actually get their "angry frown" botoxed just so they don't look so angry in tense business meetings. Is this actually possible without freezing the whole face?

Hi Mr Gym,

I had botox done to my "power frown" about 12 months ago.

It was really good. I still had my full range of facial emotions, even my kids could tell when I was about to get angry. But I have this really ugly expression when I'm stressed and I was completely unable to do it after the botox. Even after the botox wore off after 6 months I find I still frown a lot less and am getting along with fellow staff a lot better. As soon as I save up a bit more money I'm going to be getting it again for sure.

I'm sure it will work really well for males as well.

The big boss (my wife) made me get some botox because she couldn't stand me scowling at her after work. After the treatment I dind't notice a thing. My poker buddies could still read me, no one knew I had botox done but my wife was much happier and I did notice some of my colleagues weren't getting upset during some of our team "discussions"

Hi MrGym. The use of botox has evolved over the years. Currently a more natural look is fashionable. One where a person is still capable of using almost his or her full range of facial expressions. We can specifically target the muscles causing the angry scowl between the eyes (corrugator and procerus muscles) whilst leaving everything else intact. In fact my wife, also a doctor, was getting so annoyed at my scowls whilst I was studying for my surgey exams that she botoxed my angry scowl. The result was I still looked completely normal (still kept losing miserably at poker) but we had a lot less fights due to the fact I only looked 1/2 as angry as usual.
