Hi everyone,ow

I've had botox done a couple of times.

I never have liked needles that much so I was surprised that this didn't faze me that much.

However after every teatment I get a funny light headed feeling. Its really hard to describe. Its not painful but there is an awareness that things in my head are a bit different. It is a "floaty" type of feeling.

It always p after a day so I've never really worried about it. But has anyone else found this unusual feeling from Botox?

I think I know what you are talking about Sally,

I think the sensation is one of not being able to frown.

Sort of the awareness of the abscense of a sensation.

Other than the sting of the needle I didn't notice anything funny at all.

No headaches, no funny sensations.

Thats funny,

I used to get really bad migraines about once a month. Since getting botox they haven't come back.

So in short yes I did notice a change. But it was for the better!

I think you know what you mean Sally.

After my botox I always feel a bit light headed for 1-2 days after.

I've always figured its because of the abscense of tension/scowling in my face.

Since it always p after 48 hours and its not painful per say I've never really worried about it

I've been getting botox regularly for about a year now and I must say teh only funny thing I've had in 3 visits is a small bruise.

I didn't have any funny sensations at all.

I guess I'm lucky.

Or am I in the majority?

Yep i noticed this and i had a headache the next day.
I really didnt like the way it made me feel so i dont think ill be getting it again.
There is no reason why something should feel like its effecting my brain...

I've had the odd "icecream headache" but never anything more serious than that. It's all good and worth the bee stings and short headache.

I get that headache, and fuzzy feeling in my brain, its by no means painful, but it does make me wonder what its doing effecting my brain like that, makes me worry a bit.
Why is it having that effect on our brains? really really hope that they dont come out in 20 years and say "woops, sorry girls there is a link with brain tumours and botox.."
