What is Lipodissolve? Does it get rid of Cellulite?
Lipodissolve is an alternative to liposuction, except lipodissolve is non-surgical. One of the key ingredients in Lipodissolve is something called phosphatidylcholine, which is a natural product found in our bodies. It helps to breakdown fat deposits or cellulite.
The lippodissolve is injected into problem areas on the body. The lippodissolve then simulates the body's own methods for breaking down cellulite. The body then sheds the excess fat causing the cellulite.
Lippodissolve can be especially effective for the treatment of problem cellulite areas that are difficult to be fixed with diet and exercise alone. It has been used for about 10 years now, but was previously used for other medical purposes. Lipodissolve can be used for all the common areas of complaint for cellulite. The thighs, arms, back, belly and occasionally the breast (though only in men).
What does treatment with Lipodissolve involve?
The patient is generally lying down. Each cellulite problem area receives several injections. Recovery time is quite fast and generally treatment consists of 3 or 4 sessions.
Each patient using lipodissolve should always be under a careful diet and exercise plan. After treatment it is important to drink plenty of fluids, and massage the treated area every night for about 2 weeks.
If you are are pregnant, breast-feeding, or planning on pregnancy in the next 6 months, lipodissolve would not be appropriate. Also people with severe liver or kidney problems, auto-immune diseases are not suitable for Lipodissolve treatments.
Problems with lipodissolve and other alternatives to shedding cellulite.
Though initial reactions to lipodissolve treatments are minimal - swelling, bruising - the long term effects are not known. Also because the ingredients used in the injections vary, it is difficult to predict future successes with treatments and their effect on bodily organs are unclear as well.
