OK the question says it all.

Has anyone here actually had their butt lasered? I am curious on several accounts.

1. Does it hurt more than the other areas. I'm pretty sure its going to hurt a lot down there.

2. Is there a bigger problems with folliculitis? I know after my hair removal for theback they warned me about not swimming for 48hrs because of the risk of infection. Do the same sort of rules apply to the butt. After all its not as clean down there.

3. If anyone here can comment. Does it really decrease the rate of ingrown, infected hairs down there?

I've had my back, chest and buttocks area done.

It didn't hurt any more or less than any other area. Ditto problems with infection eg none

Getting the butt lasered didn't hurt anymore than any other part of the body for me.

If anything the thing that made the pain worse was how long you had been sitting there getting lasered.

its like getting hit with a million paper cuts. The 1st one is annoying but after 100 or so flashes with the laser it can get really really irritating.

The butt itself was fine though! Probably because they did that area first. By teh time they had reached the end and got up to the hair on the back of my neck I was ready to forgoe my money and just go home and shave the back of my neck from then on!
