Good on you for asking! I've been trying to get my husband to IPL off the hair on his back (... among other places) for a while. Hehe, it doesn't hurt that much but he's petrified. It's worth it just find a good clinic. good luck

I was wondering the same thing. Before competition I have to wax off all my hair. Permanently removing the hair has to be less painful and probably cheaper in the long term too

We also find that male cyclists can be keen to avoid the 3monthly wax as much as anyone else. Cyclists have to think hard about whether they really want a permanent hair reduction though!
Generally we treat them till the hairs are much finer and less visible. The male cyclists don't have hairfree legs but just a fine hiary look. Consequently the hairs are much less painful to wax off.

Amen to that
Hey fella's and interested women
I am of the understanding that laser therapy is commonly applied to the neck and back. Woo hoo - I might not need to comb my shoulders any longer!! - just kidding.
I've read that laser therapy is more effective for those with darker hair than blondes and red haired people. Though I cn't remember why that is.. if anyone had more info on that I'd be interested.

I think the laser light is absorbed by the melalin. Hair shafts in general have a lot more melalin. Redheads can be a real pain. Which means some of my buddies are definitely out.

All I can say Locki is that one way or another you;ve got to get rid of that hair. Belive me, it is a complete turn off for ALL girls. In fact, if I meet someone in a club, I actually slip a few fingers down the collar of their shirt while were dancing just to check out how hairy they are. Good luck with that.

IPL hair removal is indeed very useful for the treatment of hairy backs. The effects can be quite startling. See our website under the "For Men" section for some before and after photos.
