Hi,

I am wondering if anyone in Canberra had had tear troughs filled with restylane??

If not can someone please recommend someone in Sydney?

Thanks:o

Juvederm is better. Softer, lasts longer.

hi there...

the best result will be achieved with transconjuctival fat removal of the lower lid fat pads in combination with fat transfer to the tear trough in the same session. Restylane injection could give great results but the physician must be experienced...Juvederm is a great product but I do not use it for lower lids as it looks too full

I have used juvederm and restylane for under the lids. I do like restylane better because I found that with juvederm ultra, some patients could get a "bogginess" or a fullness that persisted for several weeks. Part of the reason is that it is a "thinner" hyaluronic acid and some of the anecdotal information from other practitioners point to this.

Either way however, both do a nice job, but I do prefer the Restylane.

I have used both Restylane and Juvederm for under the eyes. Because Juvederm Ultra is "thinner", I have found that a small percentage of patients can get a bogginess or slight swelling which persists for several weeks. I have not found that with restylane.

But overall, I like them both, but prefer Restylane for this area.
