I've only had lipodissolve done myself. I was quite happy with the result. But since I found out about the radical change liposuction had for some of the stars it got me thinking.
The pain of lipodissolve was a bit worse than I expected without about 1 day of pretty bad pain and 2 days of pain which felt like deep muscle soreness.
Bearable but not really that pleasant.
I was wondering if anyone here has had both liposuction and lipodissolve and could tell me what they thought the pain was comparable to.

Hi Misspiggy,
I've never had mesotherapy (lipodissolve to you australians) bu I have had liposuction.
Let me tell you now that if all you had was 3 days of "deep muscle pain" then mesotherapy is nothing compared to surgery.
I had wayyyy more pain than that. Plus I had to wear compression stockings for weeks afterwards. Despite obsessively wearing them I still got a small amount of skin dimpling.
Was I happy. Sure. But if mesotherapy could achieve the same results I would be there in an instant

Don't do it Misspiggy!
I've had both liposuction and lipodissolve and the pain of lipodissolve is nothing like surgery.
I had liposuction and I was totally out of action for 2 weeks. I took a week off work and then had to get an extra week off because of the pain.
It did get rid of a lot of fat but I got pretty bad cellulite/dimpling afterwards. So this was even-upped with a course of mesotherapy (lipodissolve). Lipodissolve wasn't that pleasant but it was a lot better than the surgery and I dind't need to take any time off at all.

I finally bit the bullet and tried lipodissolve for the first time less than a fortnight ago. Its too early to tell if I'm one of the ones who it worked on or not but I actually found there to be almost no pain. The day after I could barely tell anything had been done.

I agree with jomol31. I've had quite a bit of lipodissolve and hardly had any pain at all.
Although I've got a really high pain tolerance and a lot of other people on the forum say they had pretty bad pain for 2 days.
*srhug* I guess pain is individual

I was a bit inbetween. About 1 day of moderate pain. Then 1 day of being aware of it. Pretty much nothing after that. Not too bad all told
