Hi everyone,

I was wondering,

what is the difference between lipodissolve and mesotherapy. I've been hearing a lot of ads about lipodissolve lately.

Is it similar to mesotherapy?

Is it injections?

Lipodissolve is mesotherapy I think. At least I know mesotherapy can be used to dissolve fat! And both involve lots of tiny injections into the fat. Mesotherapy is also good for cellulite. I looked into it briefly before. It's huge in America and Europe.
Australia is catching up. In Melbourne, not that many people do it yet. I'm actually going to visit kiora with a couple friends this weekend to see about getting my Botox top-up. But I might ask them about lipodissolve too ;) . Are you from the Hawthorn area? We're meeting at Readings bookshop cafe at around 1. Join us if you like!

Mesotherapy is the name the americans use. In Australia the term Lipodissolve or Lipolysis has been coined to explain the exact same process.

The principle is exactly the same. Small microinjections are placed directly into cellulite or stubborn fat deposits to cause reabsorption by the immune system. Over a course of 6-12 treatments the appearance of the cellulite is greatly reduced or the area is gradually "sculpted" to give a more pleasing look.
