Hello,

I went in for my very first botox treatment yesterday and am already seeing the effects. I didn't tell anyone that I was going for the procedure, and am now paranoid that it will be completely obvious to everyone, workmates, strangers? I had kind of hoped to slip under the radar...

My question is, for those on this forum who have had botox (and others who care to weigh in) - did anyone ask you if you had actually had botox? I must admit I've never really really looked at other people's foreheads that much.

My daughter can tell. My husband knows because I tell him, but workmates haven't noticed or said anything. I notice and thats the main thing.

I've got a friend who says she can tell one woman in her office has it done because she has a frozen "botox stare".

I'm pretty sure you can pick it.

Bad botox you can spot from 40 paces away.

Good botox is a bit trickier but if you know what to look for you can spot it

I think the majority of normal people who have never had botox can't tell.

The botox regulars often pick mine. I think they just look for the missing frown

It won't be obvious, if it is done artistically. A good injector will not give you a blank stare, frozen forehead, droopy eyes or eyebrows. Wonder why nobody commented on yours. A successful zBotox treatment will give a refreshed, well relaxed face. You should get comments like, you look rested, worry-****, relaxed, wonderful. I have regular Botox treatments, so like other people said before, you can only tell, if you know what to look for. But, why would you look for it? Botox is part of personal improvement, personal hygiene. Good for you!
