Has anyone here had collagen

Have any of the veterens on the forum had collagen? You can't even get collagen injections if you wanted them nowadays and I was wondering what people's experiences were with this? Was collagen really so much worse than restylane or juvederm?

Not me personally but several friends had collagen in the lips years and years ago. It only ever lasted 4-6 weeks. I did not jump onboard till restylane came around and it would last 9 months.

The thought of getting my lips injected every month was just too traumatic

I think collagen is unfairly maligned. I had it done and its a great product. Still my very favourite product for the feel. And its probably my favourite product for the "look" as well. Its just really really soft and natural.

I think I got about 5 weeks out of it though.

On the balance I much prefer juvederm as it lasts longer but if collagen lasted just as long it would be an easy choice in favour of the collagen

Best feeling product.

A lot of you will never know but back in the bad old collagen days there was a big bold exclusion clause warning you of anaphylaxis and death as reactions to collagen.

A bruise warning is much more settling in comparison
