Hey all,

I'm new to laser hair removal, havent done it before and have been considering it. I wanted to know if anyone has any advice, experience, even opinions about getting a brazillian done with LHR! So tired of waxxing...lol

Any help would be much appreciated :)

I can't talk about the brazilian per say for obvious reasons :)

However I had almost all of the private area down there done. It worked great. I was really surprised it wasn't really any more sensitive "there" than anywhere else in the body

I started off slowly and cautiously, My underarms were lasered first. Great result after 4 sessions. Then I got a bit more courageous and got my bikini line done. After 1 session of the bikini line I thought well bugger it.

Lets just get it all off!

It was a bit more sensitive than other areas. I don't know what mrgym was talking about but tolerable. 3 sessions so far and it is going great. I always hated waxing down there. The thought of a laser firing was even scarier but going on my experience so far I would recommend it. Really no different than getting any other area lasered.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna do it :)

The idea creeps me out a little, you know having lasers around ur most delicate areas but if it means no more waxing and horrible ingrown hairs, bring it on!!! :)

Thanks heaps, best of luck!

babybear nice to see you back again and posting.

Good luck Kazza. You should post about your whole brave brazilian program :) Like the way marissa has. I'm sure there's lots of people wanting to know what it is like. Including less hardy souls like me :)

Hi! I know that you have to shave the area you are getting done eg legs ect, but what about for a brazillian? I really don't want to be in charge of removing that hair unless it is by wax or laser!!!! Does anyboday know what you need to do before hand?

Hey guys,

I'm still doing some research and cant believe how much the prices differ!
Can anyone recommend a good clinic in Melbourne please? I'm terrified of having a bad experience!

Also, will I be paying too much - $475 for underarms and brazillian? One session. Thats the cheapest quote I've been given...

Thanks heaps :)

And I'll try to remember to post my experiences after I've (eventually) had it done, promise :)

Sorry emi, cant help you with that one, I'd assume so but call a clinic just to make sure :)
Goodluck!

Not that I've had my brazilian done but that looks reasonably expensive.

Have you seen what you can get if you ask for a package deal?

Finally! Had my first treatment a week ago!
Got a good deal too! :)

Wasnt as painful as I thought it would be! I'd give it a 3 out of 10 pain, maybe 4 for the brazillian area! haha!
Hardly any irritation and redness, looking forward to the next one in 6 weeks time

It was all over in a hour, the therapist was quick and professional, made sure I was comfortable (as much as I could be anyway!)

Hope that provides some insight into the procedure, feel to ask me any questions if ur interested in having either underarms or brazillian done :)

Good luck!
