Hi all

Has anyone had any experience with the new ***** RF skin tightening system? It's a type of IPL that's supposed to stimulate collagen production and reduce lines.

Any good or bad experiences or results?

Doesn't IPL stand for Intense Pulse Light?


Aren't these two separate things? Are you sure you have your facts totally straight?

Jomol. You must be getting soft. This just looks like an advertisement. I agree RF energy and IPL are completely different things. The person doesn't even know what they are advertising (adding insult to the injury).

thanks for the vote of appreciation golden pigeon. The amount of spam is crazy nowadays. I try to be not too nazi like but I let a few things slip through. I've gone through and edited out the brand name in the above post.

That should stop people placing obvious adverts with fault informtaion! :)

actually i'm not trying to advertise anything! i just went to my skin therapist yesterday for an IPL session and she mentioned this new A****** option, which yes, on closer inspection is actually a Radio Frequency-based treatment (sorry for the under-researched, ill-informed post!). I had assumed it was another type of IPL. I popped onto this forum to ask the question, not initially realising that this product is quite a different.

i guess you must get lots of dodgy people trying to advertise stuff on here but sincerely i'm not one of them --just a bit new here.

anyway, just wondered whether anyone has had any luck with this type of RF skin tightening treatment?

I think a lot of people are getting really sensitive about the advertising here. I must admit I thought your post looked highly suspicious. The word might get filtered out here but we've previously discussed thermage in other threads so I think I am on safe ground. Thermage is the originaly RF skin tightening system

I was thinking about it last year. I saw a doctor and looked at the before and after pictures. It was pretty nice and I was convinced of the benefits. But I decided to delay a couple of years when the money is a bit easier to come by. Or when our repayments go down again.

Don't know anything about the **** system though!
