I was reading a bit about lipodissove on the recent surgery vs lipodissolve thread.
I was thinking of liposuction (surgery) but I'm now thinking of lipodissolve.
How long does the pain last for lipodissolve? Do you have to wear stockings?
I've read a bit about how effective it is (not as good as surgery seems to be the consensus) but I'm really concerned about bruising and long term pain.

Hi Maria,
The answers on this forum seem to vary quite a bit.
I was one of the lucky ones who got almost no pain afterwards.
A lot seem to have a bit of pain 2-3 days after

Hi Maria,
There was a thread on this a couple of months back.
I was like jomol31 though. I only got a little bit of mild pain after the injections. Some people were talking about a whole week of pain though.

We have found the pain can be variable.
Some people get virtually no pain after the injections.
Some will get a deep muscle type tiredness for about 48 hours.
It is variable but you can say for certain that everyone gets far less pain than they do after liposuction.

Hi Doctornev,
I started another post on a topic similar to this one.
In your experience do you think the pain of lipodissolve means you should only get a maximum of 2 areas done at any one time?
I've got about 5 areas I need to have lipodissolve on and its really hard to get time off work. So I'ld rather just get all 5 areas done at once.
Just asking your opinion

The pain isn't that bad. Its not crippling bad. For me it was barely noticeable.
Even for those on the forum it seems like you could go to work/shop etc if you had to. It might just be a little less comfortable. I say go for it. You'll never find out if you can cope otherwise

I had A LOT of pain. I had trouble sitting and moving around for about 3 days. I had stomach and love handles done. The stomach is where the majority of the pain came from. The love handles didn't hurt as bad. (I brusied more on the love handles though). I also swelled up BAD. I really looked about 8 months pregnant. I even wear a girdle for the first 24 hours. This did help with the pain. (although is was so uncomfortable to wear for that long). I had my first treatment this past Friday. I now feel a lot better. I still have swelling but not as bad. I am hoping that this works and that I only need 1-2 more treatments but I have a feeling that it will be more like 3 more treatments. I will keep you updated on my progress as I look forward to reading about yours.

Hi slkeg,
Only needing 3 treatments is fairly optimistic.
I required hmmm I think seven in total and a lot of people in the forum needed 8 or even 10 treatments.
Only a few people on the forum who got spectacular results needed only 3 goes.
I would hope for 3 but expect to need at least 6-8 courses.
Hope the pain wasn't THAT bad :)

Hi All
Well it has now been 1 week and 3 days since my first treatment. My belly is still a little sore but nothing real bad. My swelling is almost down but still a little puffy. I am already 1 pants size smaller. (and still a little swollen)
My results so far have been GREAT. I am looking forward to more treatments to get the body I use to have.

Hi Slkceg.
When you say the results are great do you mean in terms of fat lost or in terms of better pain?
Have you found a difference in fat loss between the love handles and the tummy? It seems a majority of people on the forum find it works better for the love handles than for the stomach.

Kwan G:
My pain is almost gone. Just hurts a little, big diffence compared to how I felt before. My results are great as far as some fat is no longer there. I can't believe how much fat is gone. I still have a belly but there is definitly a big difference. so far the results are very good with both my belly and love handles. I am not sure why my pain was so much worse than many other peoples but it was very painful for me. I had to roll off the couch just to be able to get up. that was a sight let me tell ya. I haven't told my fiance that I am having this done so I had to hide the pain and act like I was alright. I'm looing forward to being all done and looking in the mirror and liking what I see.

Hi Maria, I had lipodissolve in Melb. last Friday. I am needle phobic, and I was fine, comparable to leg waxing. I had it done on my but & thighs, I walked out of there and had no pain (just mild discomfort) no swelling, small pin pick bruises. I was able to work that day, and was able to massage the area that night.
The surgeon that performed it for me was telling me about a new ingredient that has been added which makes side effects dramatically reduced, if any at all. I stumbled onto this forum, just tonight, and was amazed at all the horrid side effects other members had experienced. I think this new ingredient is quite new, so hopefully you are able to experience it too. If you need any more info. I can find out for you :) :)

Hi
i have found this very interesting reading, i have been thinking of having my love handles, tummy and saddle bags done. I agree the pain and swelling do concern me as i hate needles. I have been quoted $600 for one area which sounds expensive compared to what you ladies are paying. Dalyrose if i can ask where in Melbourne did you go if possible as it sounds like you have had the least pain todate

Hi dalyrose,
that sounds like about what I got in terms of pain.
Did you get any bruising? I always just assumed the bruising was a result of whether the doctor had accidentally hit a blood vessel rather than being a result of any of the substances used in lipodissolve

I wouldn't call what people on the forum are getting as "horrid side effects."
Just some deep muscles pain and sometimes a bit of bruising. Hardly world ending side effects. And whichever way you look at it there's no getting round the fact you need literally tens of tiny little injections
For horrid read what some of the board members have written about liposuction!

This sounds interesting. Can you PM the surgeon who is doing lipodissolve with this new ingredient?
I think its safe to do a post at large on teh ingredient he (or she) uses but you had better PM the name to me
