Hi
Just wondering if anyone has tried Ultrashape Body Contoring? Is so, did it work and what did each session cost and how long did it take?

Yelp its ultrasound "fat melting"

I have to admit I have trouble believing it works. Has anyone on the forum had it done yet?

I tried it, Don't waste your money, It is painless, and takes about an hour per treatment, I lost one centimetre of the abdomen at the cost of $1.900 for 3 treatments of ultrashape and in between a treatment with Accent fat blaster which is suppose to help break down fat cells ( that is the package). If you want more treatments you pay for another package. Apparently this is a special price because a study was running. When the study is over it will cost anywhere from $4 thou to $6 thou I was told. Some people have lost several cm. But I just don't think it is worth the money. Maybe worth a try if it cost around $500. I was very excited by this whole concept and ended up being terribly disappointed and definitely out of pocket:mad:

A nurse who works in one of the clinics in Melbourne, posted on another site, (with link!) claims two of her colleagues have lost 6.7 cm each in three sessions. Ha!

The following is from their info page.

Body Contouring for Spot Fat Reduction
Would you prefer a non-invasive procedure that has been clinically proven to produce an average 2cm reduction in circumference with each treatment?!

The Ultrashape system is based on the lithotripter which has been used for many years to break up kidney stones. During treatment the fat cells are disrupted and the stored fat is released into the surrounding tissues. It is then transported away through the blood and lymphatic systems.

No prices have been quoted, infact, does not even say you have to buy a package. This package system is an American way of making business, isn't it? Just picking up here.
