I brought this up on a different thread but I thought I'ld start a new topic on it.

What do people think.

Should you just save up for liposuction (surgery) and get the big dramatic differences like spears and Demi Moore.

Or are you better off settling for the less dramatic results, saving the money, not taking the risk of surgery and getting Lipodissolve?

I'm currently in the surgery camp but would love to know what other people think. Especially anyone who might have had either surgery of lipodissolve done.

I am going to sit on the fence a bit.

If I had to choose lipodissolve certainly.

But I would rather diet and exercise. Its better for your general health anyway

Surgery is a bit scary. There's been a recent case of a young girl dying 5 days after liposuction.

Also one of the leading rumours about Anna Nicole Smith was she dies only days after liposuction. For a while, before the entire circus started up, the liposuction was a prime suspect. I wonder how safe liposuction really is?

Gym and diet first!

Then lipodissolve away anything that doesn't move.

If you do it properly you mightn't need either liposuction or lipodissolve

Its the best, cheapest and healthiest way to go.

I'm with bigbadjohn on this one.

its always best to get a proper goal orientated exercise program and good diet first. Then remove what is left after. I've had a couple of friends both female and male do it in this order.

The ones who tried surgery/lipodissolve first then exercise were far less happy with the results. One even got a bit of dimpling of the skin from the liposuction which made competitions (bodybuilding) a bit difficult for her.

I would rather try lipodissolve first then do liposuction if it doesn't work properly

Lay off the Anna. The girl is dead and not becasue of LIPO!!
As far as lipo goes I did it and am still alive but definitely regretting it and sometimes wish I was with Anna!!. My suggestion is to go the lipo dissolve route!! My story is as such:, I have been bodybuilding for 17 years NATURALY and have worked out for 2-3 hours a day 5-6 days a week hard core! (I've always been 7-10% body fat) At 37 I felt my miniature saddle bag (right thigh) needed some cosmetic adjustments. Being obsessive compulsive I jumped quickly into Tumescent Liposuction ($2600) and have FUC@#! up my thighs, , and back of my right leg (it was buy one are get one ). I have more dimples and cellulite that I ever could have imagined. It's been 2 months and 3 weeks and I know I am still healing but I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel and realize now that 17 years of bodybuilding have been flushed down the drain in a matter of 1 hour of surgery. Not something I every considered possible. I am now trying to see if someone can fix me via lipodisolve or Misotherapy. I will keep you all posted.
P.S. my surgeon does nothing but lipo and has been doing so for 12 years. I was also told that they work on local fitness competitors. This is why I thought he was well qualified.

thanks for warning me man,

I was really worried about a bit of fat around my thighs and was thinking of just going the whole hog and getting liposuction.

That story is seriously scary. I didn't realise bad liposuction could do so much damage.

I'm really sorry to hear it. I sincerely the hope the lipodissolve will correct most of the damage.

Thanks for the warning fit4life.

I had no idea liposuction could go so terribly wrong in the hands of an experienced surgeon.

Did you check out his CV?

Scary stuff. Is it that noticeable when you are competing?

Hi fit4life.

I've been thinking about getting liposuction for a long time too.

How did you find your surgeon.

I had my thyroid removed recently and it was pretty scary. You end up with a cut that goes almost halfway around your neck. You don't want a surgeon who slips in that area!

When looking for surgeon who had a low chance of slipping for my thyroid I did a couple of things. Asked about complication rate, the number of procedures they did. The most important way I found of getting a good surgeon was finding a current or ex staff member of a major teaching hospital. Generally only surgeons/doctors at teh top of their field ever get a staff position a the big teaching hospitals. The guys make less money by working for a hospital. But I like a bit of altruism in my doctor.

I'll take my chances with the surgery.

One teaspoon of fat removed per treatment.

Puhlleeeeaaazzeeeeee.

That would take my like forever
