Help ILL from Botox!

I recently had botox (2 weeks ago) in my forehead and above my mouth to make my smile less gummy. For the past week I have been very sick I feel like I have the flu. Has anyone ever experienced this? I read that this is a possible side effect. The place I had my botox done said they never heard of this happening before. The injector is know to be one of the best. Any advice would be helpful. Also my right eye is now experiencing an itchy red burning feeling. Please help!!!!

I know in the past some people have felt similar funny things with botox.

I guess anything can happen. My brother swears he gets unbearable nightmares when he takes panadol. Any sort of side effect is possible.

I guess anything is possible. Never really heard of anyone feeling ill with it though

Sounds like you should go straight back to the doctor who injected yoU! Or ring them. It sounds very strange

I agree it sounds strange. See you doctor just in case something else is going wrong

I have never found that as a potential adverse effect in all of my research.

peanut did you ever work out what was making you so ill? Was it the botox or did you have something else like the flu or a cold?
