I've been thinking about botox for months now.

But I've recently read some types of wrinkles are better treated by fillers.

Is this true? Should I be looking for things like collagen and restilane for my wrinkles?

Mine are faily deep afterall. Or will botox be good enough?

There is quite a bit of discussion of this in the botox forum.

For wrinkles it is always a 2 stage treatment

1. Dynamic wrinkles are treated by botox. These are the wrinkles that occur when you laugh/scowl/frown

2. After the wrinkles are treated with botox any remaining lines (the so-called static wrinkles) are treated by fillers. The fillers work to fill the lines that remain even after you have ceased frowning/laughing.

Also note fillers are very popular to fill in and give body to various areas of the face. The nasolabial folds been the most popular target

HI bigbadjohn,

there's nothing really male specific about botox. The principles are all the same.

Try looking in the botox forum we've talked a lot about fillers and botox there
