Can someone tell me what I can expect to pay for botox in melbourne? I was thinking of getting my crows feet and scowl done. Cost per unit?

Botox in Melbourne is probably about $15-20 per unit. I get about 25 units each time I go. I'll tell you what, it's worth it though. Out of all the cosmetic things you spend your money on this is the one that gives you pretty much instant results! Hahaha, do I sound addicted? I'm on first name basis with my doctor... so I gues I am!
You can ask around, it's usually cheaper if done by a nurse, and also maybe cheaper if you go to the outer suburbs. good luck :)

I pay $20 per unit, but then I get mine at a specialist dermatology clinic.

Generally botox in Melbourne sells anywhere from $15-20 a unit depending on the experience, skill and training of the doctor involved.
Females generally need about 20-35 units to treat crow's feet and frown lines. Males a little bit more maybe 30-50 units. For other more specialised botox its best to see a doctor for a consultation.

I have had Botox from several different people..Drs and Nurses.
I find generally that nurses take a bit more time and particularly the experienced trained nurses do a great job!

That would be one opinion Miss Louise. I've already spoken about mine multiple times on this forum.
Still whichever nurse is doing your botox it would pay to find out which Doctor is technically "supervising" the nurse. It was my understanding doctors still have to consult and order the botox first before nurses can use any medication?

$15 to $20 per unit is the ballpark. however, you can get botox as cheap as $13 per unit when clinics offer discounts, however you should always look at the qualifications and experience of the doctor before deciding on a clinic. Don't just jump on the price.
As for the treatments: Crow's feet typically requires around 20 to 40 units whereas frown lines are generally 25 to 40 units. Men usually require more.

Yes, the main concern is with the quality of treatment. If the doctor is well qualified and experienced then you will be satisfied with some expensive treatment. Well, the average cost is about 15 to 20 dollars.
