A recent thread on day spas got me thinking.

Do you think a spa voucher for masssage/facial etc is a good idea for my boyfriend?

He is a footy type guy but I think all guys like massages. Does everyone here think this is a safe gift to buy? Or should I just stick with chocolate?

Trust me they love it!

If you want to be slightly underhanded you can buy a "couples package" and get away with treating yourself as well; under the pretext of treating him

What a great idea.

I was so wracking my brain for something new this year too.

Anyone suggest a good spa in Brisbane?

I only give my bf massages for valentines. He's a bit funny about facials but loves a good massage.

You can't go wrong with buying him a massage for valentines

What a great idea!

Buying a couple's package for valentines day.

I'm rushing out now to find one. Hope I can find a spot available for Wednesday night!

I think this is a great idea too. A question for the people on the forum though. For a Day Spa virgin what would you get a guy?

massage or facial

I figure everyone likes a massage but a facial is possibly more exotic and memorable as an experience. Are the male facials good?

I'm a big fan of a couples treatment.

Its just so romantic getting totally pampered together. Plus we both learn some new massage moves that work well

Forget chocolates! (well, think cheeses, seafood and lot's of wine...) Couple's treatments are always good. It's a good introduction for the macho guys who don't like these "fluffy" things too. My husband and I get couples treatments at day spas all the time now. He likes it so much that he'll even go get the odd massage on his own!
