Hi, I am underweight by about 5kg but have excess fat cells in ankles (more accurately the area on outer part of leg directly above the outer ball of ankle). It gives the legs an odd shape from knee down and the second I put on weight, it goes to this area. Had consultation for lipolysis and it is definitely a "fatty pad" but have now been looking into mesotherapy as it appears to be cheaper and safer (?) Some concerns with ankle area apparently due to allowance of skin to swell and is it that meso does not swell as much? I am so confused. I do not know which to go with! The pocket of fat in question when pinched is probably abount an inch-2 inches so not a huge area. Thinking lipolysis might be too drastic for such a small area? Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone has had similar area done, would be very interested to hear your comments. Thank you
