Hi, i have this major problem that is making me depressed, you see i'm only 22 yrs old yet i
have wrinkles; in my forehead and around my mouth and nose
i believe that this is because i lost wieght rapidly plus i never cared about using sunblock ( i regret that now ) and no i'm not a smoker .. right now, i hate myself, i mean i'm 22 yet i look like i'm 35 because of these wrinkles and i dont know what to do !! ive heard
that those wrinkles can be treated with laser therapies, peeling or fillers .. but i'm kind of afraid .. i'm only 22, do you think its a good idea to go thru these therapies? well also
i heard that laser doesnt really help much so i'm left with peeling and fillers? what do you suggest? and is there any other solution?

thank you so much for your time

Have you thought of botox lost_n_d? I thought that would be the first thing to try for wrinkles

I asked my clinic nurse what was the youngest age group of people choosing to come along for peels etc. and she informed me that they get quite a few in their early 20s.

Perhaps an assessment by a cosmetic medicine doctor would help to assess your skin condition and suitability for peels and Botox, lost_n_delirious.

I see my doctor once a year for a qualified evaluation. The remainder of the year I have my peels, Restylane and IPL via the nurses which I must say have been absolutely worth it. I also did not use sunscreen and have the lines to prove it. While I make up my mind about Botox I'm hiding my forehead lines with my fringe. :o

If you know of good clinic, the doctor could discuss options you're comfortable with.

hi there, you sound so sad, im only 29 but according to my botox doctor have "strong "facial features which has led me to having smile lines and lines around my eyes. they are only fine but they really get me down. so i can relate!!! i have had botox a few times this time however it hasnt worked for my furrow. its been 8 days and i can still move my forhead. so this has upset me a bit. i shelled out 600 bucks for my treatment, i cant go back to my doctor as i am now in canada! before i left however i went to see a laser doctor to talk about laser resurfacing. which by the sounds of it you should look into . it takes your skin back 10 years. and from the pictures i saw of her patients, alot were very much older, the results are incredible. she gave me a quote and it was around $4000 but if you add up the cost of botox treatments then its really not much at all. botox does make me feel great, when it works but the joy is short lived.. then youre back in the doctors office shelling out more money. i hope this has helped you some. again i can relate to how youre feeling, so im sending you a big hug!
