Now I'm very excited, FINALLY, I've found a Dr in Perth that does her own injecting!! She specialises is cosmetic medicine and I'll see her in January. I can't believe how hard it has been to find anyone other than a nurse to do injecting.
The best news, she charges by area and uses as much product as the area needs. Finally someone who talks sense in my own town.
I'll let you know how it turns out. :-)

I only had the work done on friday, so a bit early to make any judgements about the finished look. I think I've got some results already though and I like it. I've already got a relaxed look. In 10 days I'll go back for top up. The Dr was pleasant, gave plenty of information but used a different injecting technique to the plastic surgeon I saw in Phuket. She used deep injections and fewer of them. She stayed well away from the eyebrows prefering to inject there at the top up session. I've got a tendency to suffer "eyelid drop" Not ptosis as such, just a bit of a drop and she tried to avoid that happening again.

Hi Marakesh!
That sounds novel indeed. Congratulations on finally finding a good doctor.
If its not against the forum rules about how much did she charge by area?
I've heard anecdotally Renee Zelweiger's dermatologist charges $20,000 US per session! He had better use as much botox and resty as he needs for that price.
I hope you didn't pay as much!

I managed to miss this post. I will PM the cost to you. I was quite pleased because it includes top up so I think that is fair.
I'm very happy with the result by the way so will be going back. I'm almost two weeks post treatment now.

Hi Marakesh
I'm in Perth too, new to the forum and a botox virgin who's a bit scared! I'm very keen to try botox for crows feet but also very keen to go to someone with a good reputation and a medical degree!
Sounds like you've had good results and liked the doctor? I'd be interested to know the practitioner you went to in Perth
thanks!

Hi I have recently joined the Forum and been living in Perth for a few years. I have been to see quite a few of the Doctors and even some nurses who pretend that they know what they are doing and am sick of being ripped off and some of the 'Attitude' from some of the places...
Recently found a really nice doctor, A*** ******k... she is great and results are really good... and learned a lot .... not sure how you find her.. she has an office in Claremont...
Good luck!!

I'm still using the same place for botox three monthly. It suits me. Even had the lips done a few months ago by the same Dr. I think it's nice if you can establish a good therapeutic relationship with whomever you choose.

Hi Marakesh do you find you get equally good results if you just go back to the same clinic? I've had 3 different nurses inject me but they keep really good notes and can see eactly what was done on the previous session.
Or is it just better to see the same person each time?

Deedee.
Do you like seeing your same family doctor or do you prefer going to a 24 hour place where you see a different doctor each time? (some of whom don't speak english very well :) )
