Beginning threads

Hi I'm brand new here.

Just out of interest. Can you actually begin a thread here before you are a senior member? I've been to a lot of forums where you can't even begin new threads till you've made 10 posts.

Painful.

Unless the moderators have changed something recently newbies have always been able to start new threads from day 1!
