I had some laser work for acne done because I don't like taking antibiotics.

It really helped the acne but the main thing was the photo-rejuvanation and dermabrasion afterwards was what really helped my skin

At Kiora Medical Spas, melbourne, we offer Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatments for acne. We use a "blue" wavelength IPL twice a week for 4-6 weeks. The blue light selectively targets the bacteria (propionibacterium acnes) which causes acne. The results are quite good and ideal for those not wanting to take oral medications such as roaccutane or tetracyclines. Combined with good home hygeine and care such as salicylic face washes the results are can be quite good.

Thanks for the info Dr Nev. That sure is good to know. I get more acne on my back. Can I use the same method on my back as well. It sure would help me in competitions.

Thanks
