Hi Han, welcome to the forum. :-)

I had crows feet done for the first time a couple of weeks ago and just love the effect. It simply relaxed the skin around my eyes and my face appears slightly fuller I think. With me the smile is still the same, incorporating the cheek muscles and eyes but minus the crows feet.

Thankyou Marakesh, did you get much bruising, or was it sore?

It doesn't sound crazy at all han.

When I used to smile these lines around my eyes would form. Crows' feet. I hated them.

After botox I can smile without these plethora of wrinkles suddenly forming around my eyes.

Its much nicer and dramatically improved my smile

Hi Hah. No, no bruising at all and no soreness. It was amazing. Seems to make a huge difference changing the needle frequently. The worst part was about 3 injections up on the hait line. They stung while being done.

On a slightly unrelated note I had my smile corrected with botox.

Thats right botox not fillers! I always showed a bit too much gum when I smiled and the doctor used just a touch of botox to lower the lip hide the gum.

I really liked the look.

It was nice to avoid the juvederm too!

Why was it so nice to avoid the juvederm? Do you like botox better?

wow ! I love the idea of botox relaxing the top lip. Surely it would relax those little lines too?

OK I'll answer both questions with one post :)

1. Kelly: I think juvederm hurts more and although my doctor is far far better at doing a dental bock than my dentist it still hurts.

2. The botox does help ease out those lines just around the lip. I think fillers do the same trick as well though. The only thing is be a little bit careful. I can remember my doctor was at pains to warn me there is a risk I wouldn't be able to drink from a straw for 1 month if the botox went to the wrong places

mighty mouth you should start another thread and tell us all about botox around the mouth, I'm really keen to hear about how it gets done and I'm sure others would be too.
