Has anyone here ever had one of these? What is it like compared to a facial?

I've had quite a few people recommending it to me

I've had a photo-facial to even out the pigmentation on my face and decolletage. It was fantastic. My freckles didn't totally disappear but the certainly faded a lot. In addition my skin was a lot tighter. The laser used to treat my skin also helps to tighten the collagen.

Hi This s my first real post,I have intoduced myself last week.
I was wondering if anyone has had success in removing or refining the creases in the decolletage area. I always sleep on my side and the creases are getting significantly worse over time and I absolutely hate them.
I went to several beauticians and they told me the photorejuvenation laser will lessen the appearance. Anyone have any other suggestions. Is it possible to have filler there with success.
PS I had my first botox injection today between the brows, if only I knew about the botox eyebrow lift, I would have had that done too.
Anyhow the injections didnt hurt that much, next time I will ask for the brow lift. Will it make a significant difference as my top eylids are pretty saggy, I really need surgery I guess , just too scared to go under the knife for anything, even as minor as that.

The browlift you get with botox is about 1-2mm. Its not dramatic but it is significant. I like the look but it doesn't have the sheer wow power of surgery.

The fine lines on your decolletage could be tricky. There's a thread going on in the laser forum about the importance of correcting pigmentation first. Supposedly just be evening out the pigmentation pschologically everyone will percieve your skin to be tighter with less lines.

But the photorejuvenation isn't really great for getting rid of the lines by itself.

I think botox can work here as well. I know it can get rid of the thick chicken leg like lines in your neck

the fine lines around the decolletage could be helped by thermage.

I've been looking into this for some time and am still saving up.

Thermage is a non-surgical skin tightening. They say its great for those sorts of fine lines. I'm going to get it for my jowl lines around the face but I'ld imagine it would be useful for the fine lines on the decolletage too.

Photorejuvenation is mainly for the uneven skin colour like heather said. So it probably wont get rid of those lines you hate

I did not know what thermage was, I looked into it and thought wow, thats great, then I started reading some reviews and mostly people were unhappy with their results, miost said it was expensive and painful without results, here is a review that I thought was pretty sad.

"If you are considering thermage and have read a lot of reviews here and there, please understand the simple fact that most of the people are not satisfied at all. Some have seen no results at all, while most have seen horrible results. I am one of those who have suffered with thermage and want to warn you. I was searching for some reviews on Facelift when i came across a lot of women who have suffered from Thermage and are looking to repair the damages through facelifts and chemical peels. What hapened to me was rather disappointing. Once i got thermage and came home, the pain was out of control and only got worse with the passing days. Then suddenly, my skin broke out into the greatest acne break out i have ever seen. Even Proactiv wouldnt take me as a spokesperson i am sure. The zits had something oozing out all the time and my forehead was almost invisible under the zits. After that, the redness and the swelling came up. Then i was itchy all over and i was in a very very bad state. My family eve got angry with me for trying to look young and risking my face like this. I went to another doctor who have me strong antibiotics and tried his best to repair my skin. Now after one year, my swelling, redness etc are all gone although i still have acne scars.. they are much lighter now, but are still there. I suffered for a year thanks to Thermage"

I guess its a bit of a lottery as to whether or not you have adverse reactions to something like that, damn shame the photos all looked so good.

I've done a lot of research into thermage too.

I tend to agree with you. The photos all look fantastic. When you poll the people though a lot seem to be quite unhappy with the procedure..

Still haven't totally made up my mind but I think I won't go ahead with it,

I too was thinking very strongly about Thermage, but after alot of research I don't think I will go ahead. I have read lots of very negative stuff, mostly about it being totally ineffective.
