Hi everyone,

Jomol brought up an interesting topic in the general forum about botox and the lower face.

Its sitting in the Male Brazilian thread. Talking about way off topic!

But the question is is Botox a lot more dangerous for the Mouth? Has anyone had it done? Jomol talked about not been able to drink properly.

Is botox worth it for the lines around the mouth?

I thought you used restylane or fillers around the mouth lines not botox?

However I can vaguley remember someone saying a patient who had had botox for their mouth had to be fed via a tube for 3 months when it all went bad.

Sounds a bit strange. A bit like an urban myth

Wow.

That sounds a bit worse than a droopy eyelid. Is it actually worth the risk of getting botox around the mouth?

Botox was really good for the lines just beneath my face. My doc said it was a bit more risky but not that dangerous.

As long as he didn't accidentally inject the wrong muscle around my mouth it is perfectly safe.

Yikes that sounds like a pretty severe complication of botox! You sure it isn't an urban myth?
