Hi everyone,

I have been reading this forum for a couple of weeks now! Its really great to see somewhere that cosmetic procedures can be discussed without being 'frowned' on, if you'll excuse the pun!

I am interested in having botox and some dermal fillers done in Melbourne. Can anyone help out with names of good practitioners? I am petty nervous and would perfer word of mouth, they say thats the best way to find a good injector.

Anwyay, look forward to talking to you guys again, I find this all so fascinating.

Although not from down under, you can find doctor ratings on the net. In U.S. I use "rate MD's" in the google search.

Try searching for doctor ratings under cosmetics.

Good luck, I have a good one here in the U.S. Research is very important!

Also, I have had botox, juvederm, restylane and thermage.

The thermage was great, but expensive. Of the fillers, I like juvederm the best. Thinner so more easily injected, and less "bumps". There is now a dental block that can be injected so there is no need for a nummer (sp?).

Lips can be filled from the inside for fuller lips without injecting the outside.

Hope this helps.

Can you describe what the thermage was like jumanji. I've been looking at it for a while now but I seem to come across a lot of reports saying it wasn't that effective.

Thermage is pretty $$$ too
