LOVE IT......I think..

I have researched so much and heard very positive things about Lipodissolve...Currently I'm training to be in a Figure/Sports Model competition and My first competition will be April 7 that is 16 weeks away...I used to be 175 and right now I'm 140....

Right now I'm so swollen from the LipoDissolve... but I can't wait to see results since I'm eating clean and working out...

You can't beat it for the price either at $300 a month for 2 treatments...
so that is 150 per treatment...per area so of course I'm doing the upper and lower abs... This is the best thing since bread and butter...

I have a question for those who have had multiple treatments.... did your swelling go down after the second or the third treatment...Im so swollen I feel like I'm 2months preg.

Any advice would be greatly appericated...

Hmmmm,

I think I'm one of the lucky ones. I had a bit of swelling for about 3 days afterwards but not much after.

A note to most people! Do not plan on going to the beach the day after lipodissolve

Good luck IndianChick im happy for you and hope it works really well for you, I think it should. Dont mean to be negative and I know your excited because it does sound great but you cant really judge it untill you get your results. Let us know how you go either way.

I agree with Dom.

The results do seem to be quite variable.

I was really happy with my results but I have a friend where the difference wasn't anything like as great for her thighs.

My results were ok.

I was advised by my doctor that liposuction would be far more suitable for me but I just don't like the idea of going under the knife. So she agreed to do the lipodissolve because surgery wasn't an option at the time.

But truth be told. There is some difference but I'm now looking long and hard for the best and safest plastic surgeon in Sydney to get liposuction done. I'm saving hard too!

I don't really regret it but its just not as dramatic as the liposuction some of my friends have had

I agree.

I sorta got mine done because I wasn't quite ready for liposuction yet. I figure in 6 years when I'm 50 I'll be ready for surgery

I had lipodissolve on Friday. I immediately began to swell. Before I left the doctors I couldn't even button my pants. I got my upper/lower abs and love handles done. It cost me $500.00 (american) I was in so much pain over the weeken. It was more painful than I expected. I often felt like I had to throw up but never did. I did get lightheaded a little while after the treatment. I still have swelling but not as bad as the first 3 days. I literally looked about 8 months pregnant. My even swelled. I have very little bruising. I wear a girdle for the first 24 hours and that seemed to help with the pain. It felt better to have pressure on the area. It is now day 4 and I have began massaging the area myself. I go to get a special massage on the treated area next week. I plan on going for another 1 to 2 treatements depending on my results. The doctor was unsure exactly how many treatments I would need, she informed me that the results do vary and some people have better results than others after 1 treatment.

It is still hard for me to sit for a long period of time. I would recommend that if you are planning on having this done, take 2-3 days off work or choose a time when you don't have to work or do anything. Don't plan on being able to hang out with friends or go out because you will not be able to move around very well.

I will keep up with my progess and look forward to reading about eveyone else who posts on here.

slckeg that sounds pretty bad.

Quite a few people on the forum have had considerable pain but nothing like what you described.

Did the girdle help with the pain?

Personally I had little pain but only had a small area injected (the love handles). I hope it works out.

Fran - the pain is getting better each day. Today I feel good. I still have swelling. Not sure how long this will last. How long did it last for you. I have been massaging my belly and sides (beginning last night) and that seems to help. The girdle did help with pain, for some reason the pressure of the girdle made it feel better. In my last post they omitted the part about my "V" swelling. That was the weirdest part. I didn't expect my "V" to swell. I am not looking forward to going through the swelling and pain again but it will all be worth it in the end, hopefully it all works out. Maybe the second treatment wont leave me in as much pain. I also had a pretty large area of my stomach done which could be why i was in a lot of pain. I have more weight in the middle to upper part of my stomach vs. the bottom part of the abs. (I'm top heavy). I have tried to lose wieght for about 2 years now.
I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovaries (Metabolic disorder) about 7 years ago. I immediately put on weight around my belly and gained a cup in my chest. No matter how much I work out the weight will not come off. I changed my eating habits and everything. I just got so sick of being depressed about the way I looked that I decided to do something more extreme. I was also thin up until the age of 27 so the difference in my body made me depressed. I could tell when some of my old friends would see me they were use to seeing a thin Stacy instead they saw a "fluffy" Stacy. I could tell by the expression on their face that they couldn't believe it. I was always very active and was a long distance runner, they were used to seeing that Stacy.

Well anyway to get back on track about lipodissolve.
thanks for the comments and I hope you get the results you are looking for also.

I go back this Friday for my second treatment. I had very good results after my first treatment. My fiance doens't know I'm having this done and he noticed that my stomach is smaller. I am looking forward to the second treatment. I hope the pain is not as bad as the first, as I posted previously I had really bad pain.

Way to go slkceg! If your fiancee is noticing a difference the lipodissolve must be doing something for the tummy.

Especially if he is paying for it. You are making him pay for it aren't you?

After all it is for his benefit

He doesn't even know that I am doing these treatments. He just thinks I'm losing weight. No, he isn't paying for it, I am. I figure it also benefits me because it makes me feel better about myself and in return makes our relationship even better.

Now that is the exact same attitude I take when trying to look good Slkceg.

All the money I spend trying to look better is only for his benefit anyway. Makes me feel far less guilty :)

I like it Ally.

What a great way to feel guilt . Anything I spend on looking good is ultimately only for the man I love.

Its pretty much totally selfless in the final analysis

it's been a little over 2 weeks since my second treatment. As i indicated in another thread I had a lot of pain just like the first time.

I have knots in my belly but am massaging them daily to get them gone. My belly is still numb in some area's and It still hurst a little bit. It seems like this time it is taken longer for the swelling to go down to. I'm still a bit swollen but not too bad. After losing 3 inces off my waist after the first treatment I am anxious to see how the results will turn out this time. I am hoping for the same kind of results. That means I will only need one more treatment. (maybe 2)

I am not looking forward to going through the injections again, that is the worst part for me.

Hi Slkceg,

That is great news about your first treatment. It is amazing how successful lipodissolve has been for you. I also find the needles painful. I do my best to numb the area with ICE but yeh it hurts. I look forward to hearing how your tummy looks when your swelling goes down.

I am into the second week of the third treatment and it is looking good. The swelling has almost gone down and the bruising is almost gone. The love handles that I had on my thighs are nearly all but gone. The cellulite is still there but I am not sure of the improvement to it yet. My Dr predicted six treatments. I think she is right. I am about half way there but I am very impressed with the results so far!! .

Cheers,
Shelllegs

Has anyone tried using a numbing cream before the lipodissolve?

The pain isn't that bad. My doctor uses one of those mechanical needle guns but I've never, EVER liked injections.

I was thinking about asking for the numbing cream next time round

Hi Miss Piggy

I have had four treatments now two each on tummy and midriff and each time I've had Eml (?) cream applied one hour beforehand. They do seem to take the edge of the injections but that is all, as I notice the sting if they are given outside the area where it has been applied which sometimes happens. The downside is that you have to go an hour earlier to your appointment but I don't know if Anthisan available in the chemist will do the same trick which you can apply yourself. Haven't tried that yet.
My last treatment (midriff) one week ago was the worst so far. Stronger dose and more of it. I can still feel the hard ridges where the bank of needles went. Massaging doesn't seem to do anything really. One thing I did notice in someones **** was that they used Neurofen as a pain killer. My doc told me to use only Panadeine because anything else like Neurofen or aspirin can cause more bruising than necessary.
