Just after some user's reviews guys!
I have minimal acne scarring on my chin, side of face, and the worst place is actually my neck. They're not very deep. Mostly I just want to clean my skin up and make it less dull.
I'm going to get a consultation with a few of the cosmetic doctors next week. Just wondering if anyone has had any lasering done lately and can share their experiences?
Obviously the result is the most important thing. But also costs/pain/overall experience would be really helpful! Thanks in advance.

Plasma laser? Haven't heard of that one - sounds pretty Star Trekkish!
A friend's son has had Fraxel and it apparently hurts like hell. The poor boy said they used Emla plus another numbing jelly and he was still in agony. Plus he couldn't get rid of the blue dye they put on his face for days.
I know Pixel is the main competitor of Fraxel. But not much else sorry!
Thermage I'm considering. But probably won't do it because the $4500 price tag is a bit steep for a procedure even my doc says is "variable results at best".

I had fraxel and loved the results.
It was really effective for the acne scarring.
The pain was pretty bad but not intolerable bad.
Dunno about the other techniques. I was thinking about thermage but after fraxel there's honestly no need for any further "skin tightening"

Fraxel is definitely all the rage.
I've had 3 friends get it and the results were startling. It made their skin look 10 years younger.

I went for a consultation on plasma.
Honestly it looked a bit scary.
The technology is so new they barely had any of their own before and after shots. And truth be told I couldn't really see that much difference. I gave it a pass.

Thermage was really nice.
It worked beautifully to tighten up the skin around my face. Nothing else could lift the skin quite so naturally in the same way. And I'ld tried everything including an endoscopic face lifts.
If you are lucky enough to have someone close by who offers it I would highly recommend it.

I know a lot about Fraxel. The result is very amazing. A lot of Fraxel CO2 surgical systems have ultra pulse, which is no doubt star in cosmetic surgery.
It is used for the treatment known as skin rejuvenation/resurfacing, which includes: the reduction and possible removal of fine lines and wrinkles, improvement of deeper wrinkles, repair of sun damaged skin on the face, neck, shoulders and hands, the reduction of age spots and blemishes, acne scars and hyperpigmentation (areas of darker pigment or brown patches in the skin).

I prefer plasma one.I think that it is the most latest one and quite effective.Plasma skin resurfacing is one of the more interesting developments in facial rejuvenation.
